Teatro 4 also uses a new audio engine which already contains a lot of additional functionality under the hood which is not yet put into service through the user interface.

Q: What is special about the new software?
A: After three years of development we now have a very sophisticated module-based software which enables us to implement new features quick and easy. Bugfixes which had to be applied during the beta testphase have confirmed that this strategy was worth the effort we have put into the whole Teatro 4 development.

Q: As a Teatro 3 user do I need to switch to Teatro 4 very soon?
A: If you are satisfied with Teatro 3 you can continue to work with it. Further development for Teatro 3 has ended but small bugfixes are still possible if needed.

Q: Is Teatro 4 “better” or “more reliable” compared to Teatro 3?
A: No. Both programmes are very stable and reliable on the same level. Teatro 4 has new features like ASIO and VST support which opens Teatro 4 for a wide range of available sounddevices. Another important reason for the Teatro 4 development was that Teatro 3 was very limited in terms of user-interface adaption when using monitors with higher screen resolutions. These limitations do no longer exist in Teatro 4 as it supports a user configurable surface.

Q: Can I use my existing “old” remote controllers in Teatro 4?
A: Yes.
